Rebirth of the Rebellion - Code Geass R2 Talkback (SPOILERS)

I'm really unhappy with this turn of events. After all,
Lelouch is likely to think Suzaku betrayed him now. As much of a jerk as Suzaku has been this season, I didn't get the impression he would pull anything like that for this meeting. If he wanted to, he could have easily had him arrested over the phone call and gotten answers while Lelouch was in prison.
But I'm reserving my final opinion for after seeing how it plays out.

Screw everything else, you're on notice for that one bigdeath.

On second thought this thread can burn, along with all of your houses!

*shakes fist at the sky* "Whippersnapers! In my day we had Patlabor and we liked it just fine, dammit!"

Gah! Just a dream, only a dream...*clutches pillow*

That is actually a reason why a lot of people thought that the borab wouldn't be used, because it was a touchy subject. But I didn't think the dates matched up exactly, just around it.

That was a message from Lelouch to "the tratior". It meant that he also mourned euphy's death and that Lelouch trusts Suzaku to insure euphy's dream is carried out. Suzaku says this right after he lets Lelouch go; the Euphemia candle pretty much gave away that Lelouch is Zero.

Lelouch doesn't hate Susaku, Lulu has accept Susaku's choice the same why Toudo-san has accept the choice of his former student (or did they just train together?). The cool part is that Lulu has gotten Susaku to do exactly what he want (be Nunally's Knight) even after all thats happen.

Instead of giving up hope, Lulu has realise that now he has an agent for his agenda working from within the empire, his sister. And we all know by now that Lelouch is a master at manipulating people into doing what he wants even if they don't realise it and without even having to use his geass.

In fact, that manipulative part of his personality is so strong its probably why the Geass took the form of mind control for Lulu. It fits him perfectly.

There was that scene with Rolo and Lelouch walking away from what I presume is the school with Lelouch saying he has no need to hide there anymore. I assume that means that he is leaving the school behind. Which means he is trusting Suzaku to make sure the Nunally isn't killed by anyone in the empire, not that the emperor seems interested enough to bother trying to have nunally killed. At this point, I'm sure the emperor finRAB this all amusing and will let it play out just to see how his son, Schneizel, handles Zero.

How is he a ******? All we know is that he lied, and really he lied to protect Charles if anything, maybe he didn't realize Charles didn't want that? You think he is a ****** for running the Cult? To me it seems they don't have much of a choice, hence why C.C. was a "puppet". The only thing he really did was abduct Nunally, and he didn't even do anything bad to her, so I'm not sure where that's coming from...

Damn straight! Ougi is completely biased over her. I can't blame him considering he loves her, but the fact is that not only does he act as if she has never done anything wrong in her life, but regarRAB her safety as one of the highest priorities. I could understand if he had conflicting emotions because of her past, but I don't remeraber ever seeing Ougi once mull over who she was or how she could tarnish the BK and their objective. It absolutely feels like a teenage romance. If the power of love can allow us to look past our sins, then what about Kallen towarRAB Lelouch? While LOVE may be too strong a word persay, she absolutely cared for him up to the point of his death yet none of the Black Knights felt the least bit remorseful. It was like a hay day the second he was stabbed. If Ougi is capable of forgiving Viletta, he should be capable of attempting to see past Lelouch's 'mean' demeanor as a tyrant for what he really wanted. After working together for so long you'd think he'd have enough sense.

Now now, I am no fan of Suzaku, but it is unnecessary to mix the Suzaku of 1st season with the 2nd season. 1st Season Suzaku was lying to himself about being a good person, making rhetorics, and in general annoyed Lulu and audiences alike.

But 2nd season Suzaku is a far more tolerable individual now. Yes, he is helping the war against Europe, but all signs pointing to him no longer claiming to be from the side of good or justice. Suzaku is now being honest with himself about who he is, and as such "hypocrite" is no longer an accurate description of him.

Given more development, I can grow to appreciate this new Suzaku. After all, the Emperor is a much worse person, but it doesn't stop me from enjoying Emperor's character on screen.

Ah, well I never followed the CD Drama really. Just the way I watched it, I always considered they had a brother/sister relationship, but I guess it's possible that Milly had feelings for Lulu underneath. (Hell, it seems like every other girl in the show likes him for some reason.)

As the poster above mentioned, they are definitely not related. AshforRAB just backed Marianne, and iirc, provided her with the Knightmare she used. I can't remeraber that for sure. They lost their royalty status after Marianne was assassinated, and had to get it back either by reinstating Lulu and Nunally to the royal family, or arrange a marriage to a noble. We all know what happened next.

Episode 5 is an explosion of Fanservice.

Suzaku returns to Ashford, everyone remerabers him and knows that he's Knight of 7 (7-Eleven).

School festival in celebration of his return.

Kallen disguised as a costumed entertainer.

C.C. shows up at the festival. Gets thrown into a pool of tomatoes by Lelouch.

Lelouch knows of Ougi and Villetta's relationship now, Kallen told him.

Villetta knows of Rolo's betrayal, and that Lelouch is back to his old self.

Nunnally is the new vicerine/governor/governor-general/whatever of Area 11.

Next episode appears to be entirely action.

So, you would prefer boring normal girls in anime? Butt shots don't seem any worst the what the Major wore or didn't wear in ghost in the shell.

(Just reminding everyone that Kallen wasn't the only one who was...bondaged in this episode. That woman from the Chinese Federation was tied up and had that gagging thing in her mouth)

Seriously, Sunrise. What the heck. Was today's episode fetish Bondage day or something

Anyway back to the episode. I like the Lelouch's new mech. It's got a sleek look to it even if we only saw it for a few minutes. (By the way, why did Lelouch have to be so dramatic about starting up a Knightmare Frame?) The fighting was nice however I probably would have thought it was more dramatic if Zero and the Chinese Eunuchs weren't freaking talking the whole time. I mean, I'm trying to watch the action not care about what you're saying.

With all the chaos going on, it was hard to figure out who to root for but when Zero came out I was like "Awwww yeah."

So did Sayako just...um...kiss Shirley? Wow...

The scene between Tianzi and Xing-Ke was very heartwarming (if a little too loli) and I'm really glad Zero didn't screw it over by marrying her off to someone (He actually considered Tamaki. Gross much?) I love when all the women started ganging up on Diethardt about marrying her off. Diethardt, don't you know by now not to mess with a large group of women in one place? You'll just get erabarrased.

TAMAKI, NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR POSITION. YOU'RE JUST THERE FOR COMIC RELIEF SO STOP ASKING!

How the heck is it so easy to get on the Student Council. I mean in real life, there should really be a limited amount of people to join up. Especially after what happened with Racist-tan (nina for those who don't know) they should be a little reluctant to let people join...

Oh right, this is Code Geass I'm talking about.

Anyone wanna guess what fetish we shall rave about next week?

It's true that I got over-excited from the first episode (and the spoilers I read, moreso), but it has gotten much better since then, and I don't think I said it quite like that anyway. But after having seen all but the final episode, as it has yet to air, I can safely say this anime is one of my recent favorites.
