Some people got a screenshot of the FLEIJA details, I don't know if it was when Nina was looking at it or when it was actually blowing up but it doesn't exactly 'destroy' things, it misplaces the atoms or something along those lines, so they could also go with that.
Eh? I'm just arguing that it's not like these were random civillians being fired on. They would have been selected for some reason to be trusted with the job. I don't see Charles putting up 'Help Wanted' signs and employing teenagers on minimum wage.
You should have learned by now that Lelouch does everything for a reason, he doesn't do things like he did in this episode just for fun, he does it because he has a strategy. How can you not want to root for Lelouch? I've always found him to be the most entertaining to watch because you can't predict what he is going to do next because it's always different than what it seems.
Well, I'm pretty cynical either way. For me, there were just a collection of things both in the show and around it that made me draw the comparisson. I don't take any particular joy in it. I'd rather be praising and enjoying what I see as a well done series rather than picking apart and lamenting what I feel is a bad one. Geass had a chance for brilliance but squandered it. If even the director knows this I'm at least content. I actually feel sorry for the guy since he seems to be taking it very hard.
If this is true, it sounRAB like this will be done behind Suzaku's back. Mark my worRAB, it'll be another straw that'll eventually tip the scales and lead to Suzaku rebelling, whether he joins the Black Knights or not.
There are 4 Geass manga. 2 of them don't even have mechs in them (Lelouch of the Rebellion, Suzaku of the Counterattack), one of them is for kiRAB (Tales of an Alternate Shogunate, probably the one you're talking about) and only the fourth one has any actual input from Taniguchi and Okouchi and even then it's completely different from the TV series (Nightmare of Nunnally).
Maybe in the movie, I don't know, but in Stand Alone Complex the Major is a strong personality and is more well dressed in 2nd Gig. She's definitely nobody's doormat.
I reckon so, though I'd made the assumption they were future mech pilots.
What response? For the record, I respect your opinion, and Code Geass is not my favorite anime ever, but other people may think differently, since this is a Code Geass thread with this many posts.
So, I have decided to break my review up into segments, this first one will focus on the characterization...I apologize if it looks ugly, for whatever reason when I copy and paste from Word it doesn't turn out right...
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2
Code Geass has certainly left the viewers with many mixed feelings. Some feel as if the second season didn
