Rebirth of the Rebellion - Code Geass R2 Talkback (SPOILERS)

Yeah after everything they (the writers of the show) have done to Leloush, especially killing off Nunnally, can they let Leloush find out that information.
 
I'm not sure if this is really a spoiler-material, so if it is please tell me and I'll put tags around it

I think Lelouch's 'isolation' had already begun long ago, whether or not he's actually 'immortal'. I think it started the day he got his geass. It's kind of like Light with his Deathnote- who can Lelouch really trust is on his side? He might always have people around him but he took on the burden of heading the rebellion himself. Now with Shirley gone and Kallen kidnapped, Rolo is the only one who still appears to be somewhat loyal [this is ignoring the fact that he may or may not have killed Shirley because I'm still on the edge with that]. There's always C.C. but you can only place so much in one person. I mean, his once best friend is his enemy, his father wants to kill him, his
mother is dead ...
 
I wish they'd explained Geass better. I mean, at least early on we had a fairly tame Geass that was explained to work by causing mild brain damage. Then suddenly it was all these unexplainable super powers.
 
My thoughts exactly.

This was entirely possible considering some little hints here and there (it's almost as if they wanted us to think of this in the first place, it wasn't convincing enough that it would just end like that)...but it really neeRAB more than just shock value if it's going to work.

Otherwise, I'm going to be shaking my head, at the very least.

Still, I'll watch the whole series to the end, it's too close, and only then will I look back and make up my mind about certain things.
 
Speaking of which, does anybody know yet why he was seen standing next to Suzaku in the first place?
That's all great that Lelouch now neeRAB to rebuild himself, away from the lies, but what if he can't? What if it doesn't go in that direction and he never really does atone? Like HC said, his 'happy' ending could be dieing and joining with his family in the world of C.
 
So... I'm still not entirely clear about what all happened in the World of C, but Lelouch's speech was awesome. I loved how Charles basically reveals everything that happened and Lelouch says, "What do you think, you two?" and Suzaku and C.C. come forward. Good stuff. Marianne telling Suzaku she saved him so he could speak with Euphie... wow.

Lelouch's "Begone!" was amazingly awesome. Completely topped off his speech.

I couldn't help but laugh when C.C. asked what Lelouch and Suzaku were going to do and Suzaku says that Lelouch is Euphie's murderer and Lelouch just looks at him and says, "What of it?" And that was the last thing between them we see until we have Emperor Lelouch and his Knight of Zero...

Man, Lelouch entering and declaring himself to be the 99th Emperor was badass. The Black Knights' reaction to the whole thing really was priceless. But at the end, both he and Suzaku looked villainous... but so did Schneizel. It sent a shiver down my spine.

Buuuut~

I got my team-up! I've been in a great mood all day because of that, haha.
 
Kallen is in the OP, at least twice.

I don't really like either. The new OP is Geass' 'Wings of WorRAB'. And that bit where the camera zooms past everyone smiling and goofy...gah.
 
I actually would not mind a "fairy tale ending", as in very happy for those who survive, provided that doesn't include the kind of magical global life-and-death reset you are describing, which would make everything pointless.

I think they'd avoid that...since Charles's plan was more or less along those lines, sort of.
 
Theory (which others have probably considered)- in the Geass visions, we've seen a room full of children. They're all gathered togethor with eyes shut, like they're waiting for something. VV looks like a child but is said to be the Emperor's older brother. So it would make sense to assume he had his mind put in one of the children. That could be a form of immortality.

I'm going to guess CC is alien in origin. The children are from some ark designed to ensure a dieing race's survival by taking the children away. Only it arrived on Earth where humanity abused and experiemented on the children to learn how to give humans Geass powers. Or perhaps it was a mutual arrangement, with the aliens controlling humanity to assume a power base in some intergalactic conflict and this is what the Emperor and VV plan to fulfill.
 
I realized that, and hence why they wrote out Milly, I am just glad they gave her some type of closure, was it silly? Yes, but hey, that is Milly for you, though in the end she did finally grow up, even stepping out of her engagement. I just dislike how you say it doesn't flow well, when infact it does, and you worry that the ending will be rushed, or not done well. Well guys, have faith, Code Geass hasn't exactly been ones to leave us let down, and they have shown that they can handle large battles well, so I think they can end this just right.
 
To be honest I would also be very happy with one. Actually, I'd prefer it over any other kind of ending. It doesn't always have to be death and despair at the end of the day.
 
Oh, you haven't won. You've only started the first round of the game...

Anyway, seriously, its a very good thing the rumors were overblown and that they aren't letting any sort of like derail the season. Interesting to know Bandai may be looking at digital distribution, maybe it'll happen outside of Japan sometime...
 
Strangely enough, I never have watched it. But I spoiled it on the PediaWiki. But you're asking to delay the revolution! And if you delay the revolution you'll delay the intervention and if you keep doing so, you may ultimately stop the intervention! And you of all people should not want that to happen!
