Rebirth of the Rebellion - Code Geass R2 Talkback (SPOILERS)

So cosplay saves the day.

I really have to wonder if Nunally's new maid is a homage to Shirin from 00. The similarities are just too big for this not to have been intentional.

Such a scene already happen when Euphie died. C.C. craddled Lelouch's head in her arms in quite the famous scene after her death.

Orange-kun has orange eyes. What European has orange eyes? He must be of impure blood.....thats what I thought but its not true either.

As for where the word orange came from:

Lelouch said it himself the exact episode after he used the word orange. Orange means nothing and refers to nothing. It was simply made up by him to sow the seeRAB of mistrust in the purist ranks and ruin the career of a most capable enemy commander. And man, was that easy. All that was needed was one meaningless word. Must be a lot of mistrust in the Britannian ranks.

Remeraber, Zero said, "Do you want them to find out about Orange". He made Orange sound like some scandalise secret Jeremiah had. People just use Orange-kun to mock him. This is easier to understand in the english translation of Orange boy where any military officer would find it an insult to be called a boy by anyone, especially a superior officer. In case your wondering, is was Guilford that first used the phrase orange-kun when he demoted Jeremiah.

Aw, no Geass next week. But that's ok; it gives us more time to sit in wonderment as Lulu's genius! Brilliant genius!
I have to had it to him- that was pretty clever. Like woah.
So Suzaku's geass is still working. oy.

THIS RECENT CHANGE OF EVENTS CAN ONLY LEAD TO MORE WAR
;_;
/falls over

I could've sworn that Orange was used as an insult against Jeremiah by people besides LeLouch ("shut up, orange!" for instance), like those soldiers in the episode that introduced Euphemia...I'll have to investigate the issue later.

In addition to that, the character chart has been changed around a bit.

And in Aurthur's Knights, wasn't Galahad the best? If so, then maybe we are following a Knight type deal, in which case, wouldn't Anya kill Gino, or the other way around since Mordred and Tristan fight?

Or some charming lemon drink.

Bah I'll have my own pizza pie banquet! With Backgammon, and Well-educated debutantes! In fact, forget the well-educated debutantes!

He had no choice but to quit. He was right, he can't hate Lelouch and Geass while resorting to using drugs to get the truth from Kallen without being the world's biggest hypocrite.

I actually don't remeraber what was different about Four's situation. She very clearly kamikazes the Sudori after the Hong Kong arc, and yet she's good as new (well, a bit more unhinged than before, but still) during the Kilimanjaro battle. Even back when I was determined not to admit that any show I liked had flaws, that still got a out of me.

Oh I hated that scene. It was even more terrifying subbed. Suzaku openly admits to selling out his friend if it means achieving a goal. There is a difference between making sacrifices for the greater good and making sacrifices for the greater good by destroying something you once held close.
He's been blinded by the events at the end of season 1 [like what GWO said] . His sense of reality and perception are warped.
Still, I wouldn't call Suzaku 'evil' in the terms of being some kind of villain because of this.

Until the kid redeems himself some how- he's a jerk. a big one. a giant one. He's a huge jerk. I'll still hold hope, however

That or the 'Live' Geass kicked in when he caught a scant glance that one of Refrain's side effects is breast growth. Kallen would have crushed him.

That'd be a cute outro if there ever is a Geass Abridged R2 25... But I'm thinking way too far ahead. XD

Nunnally (as she tries to go after Lelouch): EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!

How? None of the female characters did anything in that show, except Wang, who magically accomplished everything.

This episode definately showed C.C. is a strong character, after everything she has been through, shot, tortured, betrayed, never finding true love, she didn't take the easy way out and just died, she chose to live on, granted Lelouch was a major part in that, but still.

The memory loss I'm thinking is temporary, I think Lelouch most likely has to grant her wish for her to gain the memories back, or at least that's how I'd like it to go.

Kallen just hasn't had her moment yet, she has had a decent battle here and there, but her time just hasn't come yet, other things have taken priority for the most part.

Nunally is a rather strong character, this episode proved just that with her standing up to those around her telling her what to do.

Cornelia is awesome, like you stated.

Though Shirley was indeed ditzy and silly, I think it says a lot for her character that she was able to forgive Lelouch in the end, despite all of the pain he caused her, she was able to look past it and realize he was a good person, unlike other characters.

Even Euphemia wasn't 'weak', throughout all of her life she was always put down as the one who knew nothing about war and was simply there to be the Princess that got everything, something she didn't want, but when her moments came she was shown to be a compassionate female who wasn't even racist like the rest of her family. While Lelouch messed that up, she still had her moments.

Compared to 00, I believe Geass has far stronger females. You are just looking at all of fanservice and counting that against them far to much, they have done a lot of good also.

Edit: And majority of the people in this thread I have seen in the 00 discussion thread, so I don't think anyone is being spoiled all that much.
