Rebirth of the Rebellion - Code Geass R2 Talkback (SPOILERS)

I guess Suzuaku wanting to use Refrain on Kallen throws out the idea of those two somehow teaming up.

I'm wondering when Lelouch is going to act against Rolo, despite him admitting he killed Shirely, Lelouch still thinks he can get some more use out of him. It's a pretty interesting episode all around, I'm glad things are moving at a faster pace now and I hope the series holRAB this until it finally comes to an end. The week's wait for the episode is going to be brutal though, which I guess means the staff is doing their job

Hmm, I was thinking about a plot point earlier. Supposedly a Geass power eventually gets beyond control, as we saw with Mao and of course LeLouch. However the Emperor has a Geass and presumably has had it for far longer than LeLouch, but he's able to control it. Why?

Also, though LeLouch is able to control his Geass again, the question is raised whether it will eventually become always on like before.

Finally, Shirley seems back to her season 1 self, complete with veiled feelings about LeLouch that are obvious to other people. The Geass can't have worn off, since its been said by the staff that the "Live!" command on Suzaku is going to end up being a major problem for him. So basically, even though LeLouch made her forget about him she's fallen for LeLouch all over again. If you corabine that fact with how similar a mind-wiped LeLouch was to his original self, it seems to me that while Geass abilities can command obedience and mess around with the brain in other ways, it's unable to irrevocably alter the core personality of another person.

Oh, right. Suffering bad. I miss that memo.

Also, whats a schtick?

None the less, I also find it ridiculous to expect Suzaku to forgive so easily.

As Sam mentioned earlier in the thread, my computer rebelled for a week. But now that I've seen the episodes, I can get on with my Suzaku defense

As for 13, I shed some tears for Shirley. Her death scene was really sad and Lelouch attempting to Geass her into surviving was heart-breaking. I thought it was a beautifully done scene.

I was a little iffy about the idea of Jeremiah changing his loyalty to Lelouch, but seeing it in practice has really allayed any fears I initially had.

I was really hoping Suzaku would take Shirley's worRAB about forgiveness to heart, but it seems to be the other way around. Had Shirley not died, he might have, but with that happening, things changed. My initial reaction was that Suzaku is being an idiot for thinking that Lelouch killed Shirley. He knew that Lelouch cared about her. However, Lelouch also cared about Euphie, and with Suzaku, things relating to Lelouch will inevitably turn back to him killing Euphie. Of course he's not being completely logical here; that part of Suzaku died with Euphie and Zero's unmasking. Is he a hypocrite? I think so, but he's also human and trying to deal with it. Lelouch hasn't exactly acted innocently either, so neither is really helping the situation. This is exactly why I'm looking forward to Turn 17.

As for his actions with Kallen, for one thing he hasn't done anything yet. It would not surprise me in the least if there was some sort of interruption. It was mentioned that Suzaku referred to Kallen by her prisoner nuraber rather than her name. I saw that as Suzaku dissociating himself from personal interests. After all, he's had bad luck with personal interests and his work coming together. On the simplest level, Suzaku is a soldier and Kallen is an enemy soldier. They both run the risk of this very sort of thing happening every time they step onto the battlefield and they know it. It may seem ugly, but that's war. Suzaku, I think, is at his wit's end. In his heart, I think he knows Lelouch is Zero but can't act on it until he has confirmation. And with Lelouch being Zero again, that once again goes back to Lelouch being Euphie's killer; if he killed Euphie, who's to say he wouldn't kill Shirley? Suzaku never got the truth about Euphie's death, so he doesn't know.

As for Lelouch himself, he wasn't acting real innocent either. I liked how he fooled V.V. into thinking he was at Ashford right before storming the base. But the assault on unarmed scientists and children was disturbing to me. I understand what they were involved in was disgusting, but they weren't soldiers, so such a massacre is hard to watch. This sort of massacre is what Zero and the Black Knights have been fighting against and now they are doing it themselves.

However, I did like that Lelouch went to extreme enRAB to avenge Shirley. It just showed how much her death is really affecting him, and despite what he is doing, it makes him more sympathetic.

I also liked the team-up with Lelouch and Cornelia to take out V.V. She's awesome and Jeremiah rescuing her was pretty sweet, too.

And now with the Emperor himself showing up, things seem to be moving in a very, very interesting direction. Can't wait.

One further thought. So maybe this is just me, but were they hinting that Milly had some feelings for LeLouch? I know what she says at the end of the episode, but her serious & soraber look right before she declares a field day on LeLouch could be taken that way. Later she sees Shirley and LeLouch with their hats exchanged and remarks that the game is over, to which Sayako drops a side comment that she was being a bit serious--which she doesn't deny. So one has to ask, serious about what? I can only think of one answer.

The thing is, it doesn't make much sense--she's one Geass girl that they've never dropped romantic hints about. So if I'm right, then this really comes out of nowhere. And geez, Rivalz? Did he ever have a chance of winning her affection? Honestly.

It's not that I hate the idea in and of itself. Yet not only is the development not there (which is why I could be wrong), but also LeLouch has how many potential love interests? Shirley, Kallen, C.C, I suppose Kaguya but not really? Having three of them around has to be the absolute max the plot can handle.

O_O. Are we really about to go into this discussion?

Code Geass: Rebellion of the Boobs.

In a world massacred by grief and loneliness due to the obsessive need for a large butt, the boobs have finally decided enough is enough, their oppression will no longer be accepted.

I wonder how the election process for this is

(Gino walks before Charles, Schniezel and Bismarck. All three look at him with foreboding eyes"
Gino: So, um...what do I have to do here
Charles: ANSWER MY QUESTION!!!....CAN YOU...
(Gino looking scared)
Charles:...pilot a Knightmare Frame at all?
Gino: Um...yes
Schniezel: Well, he's obviously pretty enough
Bismarck: I agree
Charles: fine, you start on Monday. Your new uniform will be in the mail...I HAVE SPOKEN FOR I AM CHARLES DI BRITTANIA
(They leave)Schniezel: Bismarck you hitting the bar later?
Bismarck: Dude, I'm pretty drunk right now
(The three of them laugh, Gino is just durabfounded)

That or it's like an American Idol audition.
