Rebirth of the Rebellion - Code Geass R2 Talkback (SPOILERS)

Remeraber, that in episode 17 Susaku was willing to join Lelouch if he was willing to end the world war that was going on. If the spoiler is true then that would end the war which is what Susaku wants.

Does he? I'd say he's trying to not put his own arabitions above the rest of the world. This was highlighted alot in season 1 when Zero would waffle on about some great victory and Suzaku's response would always be 'And what of the casualties?'. He's trying to win through politics, a bloodless campaign. In contrast Lelouch/Zero is content to go to great extremes and play everyone else as disposable pawns.

Neither side is completly right but at least Suzaku is trying to make sure no one else suffers for HIS arabitions.

This really has nothing to do with the episodes at hand, but I didn't think it deserved it's own thread.

What is up with the a.t.b. dating system in CG? Year 1 of a.t.b. is 55 BC for us (Julius Caesar leading a force into Britain), yet all the other dates are the same as A.D. Ex. ~1770 A.D. is the American revolution, and ~1770 A.T.B. is also the American revolution.

But Patrick had an unresolved story, even if it didn't involve more than trying to woo his commanding officer. It just seems like Jeremiah's story has run its course. You could even say he did succeed in getting revenge on LeLouch in the end, considering how things turned out.

Upupup. No more out of you, young man. Or else we'll have to organise an exaggerated chase sequence throughout the forums with you as the object of interest and/or rage for a 25 minute time period.

I hadn't seen this spoiler before and it is Wiki, but about episode 20:

Schneizel ordering Suzaku to assassinate Charles? That's an interesting way for things to go. Supposedly he no longer considers him fit to rule...perhaps this is because of everything he's learned about Geass on his own and from Cornelia?

Being bitter over what it did to Euphemia, I could see Cornelia being willing to turn against Charles. As for Schneizel, perhaps he wasn't BSing when he said that he was afraid of Geass' power and the fact that he had no way of knowing if he had already been affected. Presuming the likely scenario that he has arabitions to rule, the possibility of having secret powers waiting to be used against him at any time can't be too reassuring.

He apparently doesn't realize that Charles can't be killed, though...it seems to me Suzaku can't succeed on his own, which is where Lelouch might come in handy.
