So watching the season 1 episodes on adultswim, I realized that in episode 18, Lelouch clearly states that he isn't Japanese and that it doesn't matter who or where he is from, but rather the results that his leadership will bring them. Everybody seems to agree that this is a pretty good philosophy.
Taking that into consideration, did the Black Knights just disregard that little speech when they decided to go AWOL on him as of late, or did R2 totally forget the scene ever took place? I mean, they acted so shocked like Lelouch never made any mention that he might not exactly be this 'godlike' person they envisioned- prince or no prince. Not to mention Ougi is still pissing me off. Watching season one makes the developments in that area even more lame since not too long ago they fully supported Zero regardless of who or what he could possibly be. Talk about them being a little hypocritical.
