"Rave Master" on Ani-Monday Talkback (Spoilers!)

Why am I watching this...? Seriously. The lazer sounRAB don't even sound like they're supposed to be there. Seriously. The music's also bugging the hell out of me.

Also... Is anyone getting a male enhancement commercial?

This seems so wrong for this dub.

EDIT: Plue's just sitting there. Not doing a damn thing. Heh.

And Yoko to Ellie,

Yet another fight in which the males have to swing around suggestive imagery to get their feelings out. We just saw that almost an hour ago too.

Jet Black was once a man. Now, hes a bear!

Deerhound? He might as well been called "Blast Hardcheese".

RAVEMASTER!

Seesh, SciFi, get that spacebar fixed.

Whoa, Plue has serious issues. Shaking, disorientation, what appears to be narcolepsy, the ability to fly in midair and cause massive explosions...

Bah, Elie always looks cute. I just wish Buchholz didn't rape her character so. Seriously, she was awesome in the original.

If there is one thing in Rave Master I'll freely admit was the fault of the orginal and not the dub, it's them.

I mean, really, what was Hiro Mashima on when he was designing them?

Playing Magic: the gathering with some pals. My computer screwed up in recording it (thankfully).

Whoa, Plue the Barbarian!

So are we ever going to know what the heck Plue really is?

Man, this episode is really showing off Mona Marshall's voice as Plue! Then again, it gives her the chance to say something other than "Plue".

Pudding People? What?!

Hey, it's another way they torture people other than giving them headaches, singing at them or making them eat healthy and/or distasteful food--telling bad jokes mid-battle!

Remeraber that one guy at the racetrack back in the first episode with the bad coffin joke? Same method.

"I had to buy the shoes with the skates built in!"
You had to wait until NOW to tell us this?!

Dub haters call him a "Pokemon or Digimon reject".

Talk about double trouble. I should write for the dub with that line.

Anyway I love how they tease each character have their own individual story to be told between the good guys and the bad guys.

The way the Musica / Reina storyline ended is freaking awesome.

Hey, Spongebob's voice wasn't that annoying. Well, not during the first three seasons anyway.

Anyway, I'm forgetting how much or how little the dub botched the upcoming arc, (better not be too much seeing as it's six episodes long!) but I'll probably be watching the episodes anyway just to see Seig Hart and Reina in action. Particulary Reina. Mmmmm Reina.

: EXACTLY.

If Bleach's Bount Arc taught me, wind can make thunder & lightning. Plus earth, fire, and water, all he need is heart and can summon Captain Planet.

NO! NOT ANOTHER DUB SONG! THIS IS ALL JUST A CRUEL JOKE MAN!

Last week on Rave Master...is better left forgotten.

This week on Rave Master...it will be better than last week.

Tonight's schedule:

12 AM: All Aboard - Part 1
12:30 AM: All Aboard - Part 2

Lust for power. What else? ...oh yeah, and his [strike]murdered[/strike] destroyed wife and son.

Laser gun sound effects. Nice try. What is this, G.I. Joe?

How dare you [strike]kill my family[/strike] [strike]destroy my family[/strike] feed my family BROCCOLI ONION ICE CREAM!!

"The one who caused this pain and destruction is right there!"
Actually it was his friend in the jumpsuit.

Despite the presence of the UNSPEAKABLE, this proved to be an enjoyable episode. Ellie looks totally cute in her dress, we get some background on the political scene with the fall of the Shadow guard, and perhaps the funniest, grossest scene that I have ever laughed at. Better than the borefest we had last week.
