"Rave Master" on Ani-Monday Talkback (Spoilers!)

He wiped out 50 squaRAB in four days?! So I guess the plot didn't sound too good to the new guy either.

The Prisoner? Explains his psycho-personality. That show drove me nuts too.

Okay, Don_East, zoorabie and Kitschensyngk, I only saw the 12:30 AM episode.

...It wasn't that bad, actually. Maybe it was one of the less crappier episodes?

The joke I remeraber not liking is the P.A. on the ship. As much as I liked Spaceballs, it didn't work here. Other than that, it wasn't that bad.

You know what? I think I deserve something, at least for liking it.

Rave Master's Ani-Monday run continues with two more episodes. With any luck, those singing minions will not be back.

Will Haru recover from his recent thrashing? Will Elie do another Xena: Warrior Princess imitation? Will we ever get over how silly that opening is? I suspect that the answer to one of these questions is a definite "no."

Here's tonight's schedule (all times Eastern):

12 AM: Release the Beasts - Part 1
12:30 AM: Release the Beasts - Part 2

Well, dang. And I thought that what Sieg did to Haru was horrible. What happened in the manga sounRAB like a much worse and horrific sight to see, not to mention all of the psychological damage involved from seeing it.

I only saw the first episode last night since I was too tired to stay up, but I thought that Haru's moment with Elie in the space-like dimension was cute, but I'm a softy for moments like that anyway. I actually did get a good laugh with that whole Butterknife bit since I thought a joke worked after such a serious moment. I remeraber the ending to this episode though from watching Toonami and it was nice how Haru wanted to be there for Elie like that. Out of Time has been the most serious and enjoyable arc in this series thus far and I hope that I'll also enjoy what is shown next week.

Seig: "Come with me if you want to live!"

Well instead of an Ultimate Showdown, we get a ultimate letdown.

Oh well, at least we have Musica and Let back.

Trapped in a parallel dimension with Elie's bad sense of humor. That is Hell in its purest form.

And her tears snap him back to consciousness. How cliche.

Yeah, follow him deep into a dark cave and when you finally can't see your hand in front of your face, he'll tear you and your frienRAB to pieces and bury the remains where he squats. Good plan.

Well, since half the episode had the scenes with ZEIG HART, green haired Jessica Rabbit, and the dragon nut. It was kind of boring, but not unfunny. There won't really any bad jokes to endure as much as the first one. But man, Griff just won't shut the **** up. The fact he has SpongeBob's voice is bound to make him more annoying. Elie is not really helping with that crap about a band. The PA jokes fall into the Nostalgia Critic rule of bad jokes...

NOT FUNNY+NOT FUNNY=NOT F'N FUNNY!

For likeing this, I reward you with a BOOT 2 DA HEAD! And one for Jenny and the wimp.

She's dangerous, she says so many durab things it'll drive us all homicidally insane. Bringing forth chaos that the world has never seen!

Oh, I get it.

Since I was the only who didn't suffer from last night, you gave me suffering here along with everyone else! Thanks, Don!

I hope that doesn't make me sound like a masochist.

Ellie's a replicant?

Where's Matt Deckard when you need him the most?

Wow, this is actually pretty good. I mean, its not great, but its still better than most of the episodes shown.
