"Rave Master" on Ani-Monday Talkback (Spoilers!)

That's a really BIG TANK!

Laser fire! Pew, pew, pew!

So, yeah, King's family...got massacred...who didn't see that coming?

Well, it does explain the madness to destroy the world!

Wait, is this guy Nero from Star Trek?

"Icing on the pie?"

"Icing on the pie?"

THAT JOKE DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE! SHUT UP!

JUST SHUT UP! NO MORE JOKES! JOKES LIKE THAT DON'T MAKE YOU THREATENING! THEY MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT!

Seriously, how did Shuda survive? If the fall didn't kill him, he should have died from the blood loss after he blew his hand off.

"Tastes like bubblegum!"
Euuugh. He LIKES it?

By the way. Why does all dub music always sound the same? I never understood that. It always sounRAB exactly the same. It's almost never different, even if the composers and companies are different.

Ugh.

EDIT: "Oh no, out of ammo."

Since when does Lazer guns have ammo?

Im still confuzzled as to why scy-fy would air the edited dub of rave master..

Maybe they thought people who missed toonami would adore this? Because I sure don't, unless this leaRAB to something like dvRAB or something, its pointless.. hey but thats just me.

Yeah, but she channels her soul to Musica's staff, so there's a couple of moments when he sees her again in spirit afterwarRAB. "Death cannot stop true love. It can only delay it for awhile."

oh.

I was reading my tv and I was like "why are they showing the same episode twice?"

Well, I guess this+gurren laggan shouldnt be too bad, and I havent seen the dub in quite a while.

You could snatch the dang stone from the slow badly dying body and destroy it. Or better yet, use the the sword to decapitate him.

I second that.

Wow. I honestly can't believe how horrible the Plue episode was. It was so insane and it didn't make any sense at all. It was so hilariously awful that I couldn't help but laugh, especially when we saw the pudding people and they started singing and telling really lousy jokes. The next episode was somewhat better, even though it was mostly for Musica's updated outfit that made him look cooler. I had a feeling that many people wanted Griff to stay behind, especially after the last episode, but it wasn't surprising that they wanted to help him. At least the way Plue attracted more people than everyone else was kind of funny.

So yeah, these were just really weird and bad episodes. Even though the dub isn't like the Japanese version, I'm still not too surprised that the series didn't last too long. Hopefully, next week's episodes will be more interesting, even though I think I know who might make an appearance in them that might make others here unhappy.

After a week off, Ani-Monday is back. Tonight, Haru and Elie have to deal with the mighty Thor!

Oh, no, it's just the Thunder Man. On the bright side, he's voiced by Crispin Freeman.

Here's tonight's schedule:

12 AM: The Sound of Thunder - Part 2
12:30 AM: The Sound of Thunder - Part 3

I apparently missed some Elie backstory last time since I failed to tune in. Doh. Details, anyone?
