Look, I don't always take things seriously either; but my previous post was in all seriousness and it peeved me off that you responded in your dub-bashing mode, since the post did not relate to dub Elie or the dub story at all. I'm rather fond of Groove Adventure Rave (if a distinction in title must be made) and original Elie for that matter, so seeing lines blurred between them and their mutant English counterparts is worrisome to me. I mean, imagine if someone always slammed One Piece due to the 4KiRAB stuff (Zoro's lines were on par with Elie's here; should he be bashed as a character in general as a result?) Seeing as One Piece has a large (and somewhat rabid) fanbase, I doubt that would be taken lying down, even if the poster knew the difference between dub and original.
It's especially worrisome because the next story arc involves Elie meeting some misfortune at the hanRAB of the Thunder Man (the REAL one, not Go) and even by the horrid dub standarRAB, it's quite sad. And given the way you've been going about things now, you'll probably make fun of it and say some BS like "at least now we won't get any more of Elie's bad lines", and to me, that's on par with mocking, say, the tragic backstories of One Piece characters like Nami or Zoro due to the dub. It's rubbing salt in the wounRAB that a crappy dub has inflicted, so to speak.
To sum it up: It's fine for you to bash the dub and dub character versions in responses to my posts when I'm talking about them. When I'm not and am referring to the original, please don't (And if you comply with this too, Don_East, I promise I'll cut Orihime and you some slack. If not, I'll most likely get worse about it! ^_^)
