I agree that Haru's fight with Lance took way too long. They could have finished it an episode or two earlier than they actually did. I actually didn't find the dialogue to be that bad either. Just really, really, really weird and out of place.

I liked the last episode better than most of the fight with Haru and Lance since I did like Musica from when I first saw this show. Plus, I always did like the ending where they both knew they were related, but never said it to each other.

Last week was serious business, full of tragic flasrabroadacks and an uphill battle. King, obsessed with making Gale Glory pay for inadverantly causing the death of his family, intenRAB to complete the ultimate shadow stone that he implanted within Gale at last. Fortunately Elie arrives with the Rave of Corabat, but rather than use it himself Haru turns it over to Plue. As Plue shakes, the Rave Stone reacts.......

Is the original Japanese version have these many jokes, is it as comedic as the dub? Or is all added on for the dub, like Funimation's dub of Crayon Shin Chan.
 
I'm thinking nostalgia factor, for one thing. Many of those kiRAB who watched it in 2004 are now in college (yes we're all getting old really fast ) . Other reasons, just as important, is Manga/Starz! probably got the show cheap and its main purpose is as filler until they can figure out what else they can toss in the slot and/or whatever the new SyFi Channel is going to get up to when it comes to Anime come July.

I do wish Ani Mondays could have come up with something else but at least this way the show will actually get through individual stories in this show in less than a month (Rave Master has more Pt 1,2,3,4,... episodes than just about anything else I've ever taped )

Are those, white flashes for the the rock hit the wall oRABcreen? That doesn't make any sense! If it was some one getting hit with the rock, I'd understand but not this.
