"Rave Master" on Ani-Monday Talkback (Spoilers!)

By "evil" you mean "unfunny and unlikeable" than okay.

Now that I think about it, Elie is like Beverly from the Howard The Duck movie. In fact when she said all that crap about doggie biscuits I felt like the Nostalgia Critic.

"Haru, give him a doggie biscuit or better yet, one of those rawhide chews!"
" I really hope she dies."

Aaaaaaaaaaaand another pan up to Reina.

"This is better than watching a chick flick!"
GAAAHHH!! DON'T YOU START! I HAD SUCH HIGH HOPES!

"I know the perfect word game. It's called 'shut the fxxx up'."

"NO MORE RHYMES NOW, I MEAN IT!"
"Anybody want a peanut?"

Piss pissed himself.

Gurren Lagann's not the only anime with drills on this channel.

"Why does it have to be drills? I hate going to the dentist!"
In this context, isn't that two separate ideas?

Easy there buddy. This is show from the time of Hacked Piece and the first 4KiRAB dub Yu-Gi-Oh. They don't know no better.

Plue was actually useful just now.

"I've Been STUNG!"

"That cat is amazing!"

No, Plue is clearly a mosquito.

Man, those henchmen are so lucky to search Ellie.

So I guess Ellie's guns are energy weapons!

Plue is kicking butt!

Lol, the dub in my opinion isnt that bad..I like the guy who plays sasuke that plays haru glory.

I think the puns are what get on my nerves, I mean, when musica was having a heartfelt speach with Haru, musica randomly makes a pun about how hot it is.

It completly ruins the mood of the show...

The bandits weren't even in that episode in the original; just in the train one. For some reason, the dub pasted clips of them into the Musica-Melodia episode.

And now let's catch up with Sir Chino, Slayer of Frogs.

"I'm sorry I got mud on my clothes...I know how you hate doing laundry."
Why must you keep killing the drama?

SUPER FIST OF THE NOSE--oh wait, now that's disgusting!

This isn't a bloodbath, it's a Rorshach test!

Must have rolled good on initiative.

Quick! Run blindly towarRAB the angry kid with the sword!

Someone call Shino and ask him if he's missing any of his bugs.

I tried to get into it in 2004 and failed. Maybe I'll give it another shot, but the way I saw it was that the show was a bland adventure that tried to make itself stand out by having a musical theme, except the music theme never went anywhere (in hinRABight, Kenji Kawai's actually decent score being replaced probably didn't help any).

As I've said, Eureka Seven would've been far better for Sci-fi if they wanted an action show with musical influences. But I'll give it another shot, especially in the long shot that this is an uncut dub.
