"Rave Master" on Ani-Monday Talkback (Spoilers!)

What the hell is that thing? A eggshapped with duck bills and feet wearing a santa hat that rings a bell and says boyo? THE CREATOR OF THIS IS ON MORE DRUGS THAN HENDRIX!
 
I still wonder if this airing is just filler until something else is ready. Seriously. Why else is this on air? To torture us? Or an early april fools joke?

And as the bear is written out of the series, millions of dollars in potential plush toy merchandising are whizzed down the writer's leg.
 
Yeah, it's pretty bad, especially compared to that six-parter. I actually changed my mind and finished out that first episode, but I did basically stay away from the next one. To go from Musica's cute sort-of girlfriend to those bandits...yeah, no. Denied!
 
Sorry to disappoint you all, but the digital swimsuit and the purple blood were not added for the hackjob dub, they were there in the original uncut version as well.
 
Other than some father-son bonding, does this episode have a point?

I mean, the Enclaim thing was resolved, could they have at least given it a different title?

Oh, so that's why it was cancelled. It was retooled to star Elie and the ratings bottomed out.
 
These were a couple of interesting episodes. At least we got to see flasrabroadacks that we haven't seen multiple times already for once. I thought that it was kind of weird how Gale went out to look for the Rave Stones, but didn't meet with King until five years later. A year or two sounRAB a bit more reasonable. While it was too bad for King that his wife and son were killed, I have to say that it is his fault, as well as the military for going for the shoot and ask questions later method of attack. He was the one who turned the Shadow Guard into an evil organization, the reason for which never really came up.

I felt bad for Gale when his wife died like that with those little flasrabroadacks too. That did explain why he never returned home. King really did go insane over all of this for wanting to destroy the world because of his hatred for one person. I didn't really understand how Gale lost his whole shirt in that last blast though. I remeraber from the first episode that there were some Rave Stone that Pule used himself, so that might have been happening in the last scene. It will be interesting to see how the next episodes turn out.
 
Lance seems to obsessed with time.

And what the Heck is Ellie doing? She's about to be killed by a psycho, and she wants to play a rhyming game. Either Ellie is stupid, or even more crazy than Lance.

Biss is alive? I though the tofu thing was a euphemism for execution?
