"Rave Master" on Ani-Monday Talkback (Spoilers!)

THAT WASN'T A STINKBOrab!!! Otherwise they wouldn't set it up on the OUTSIDE of the train!!!

WOULD YOU JUST DIE ALREADY!!!

Gee would it have something to do with your ABNORMALLY GELATINOUS POSTERIORS!!!!

Plue's not an insect! He's a Lockpick!

And why did Plue free those dogs, only to enslave them?

While this is pretty bad, at least it's not to the Batman and Robin level of bad.

"The North is a very large territory."

That has to be the most vague direction ever given.

Well, this episode was somewhat more interesting than the past five episodes. Plue, Musica, and Heavy's shenanigans are always wonderful to watch.

At least more wonderful than the past six insufferable episodes we went through.

Just pretend she's the Evil Mirror Universe version of Orihime, and you'll get through it.

"I'm not gonna pick one... I've decided... I'm gonna save them both!"

See, now summon Gurren Lagann to take this chump down with it's GIGA DRILL BREAKAAAAAA!

"Seen one Rave Master, seen them all."

WorRAB to live by, Reina.

Part 2 was awful. Thirty minutes of Ellie crying and getting tortured. It was enough to make me miss the wacky dub.

I mean, seriously. If the show wants to be serious then fine, but the problem here is that it drew it out so long that it was borderline ridiculous. Yes, okay, Elie wants to know who she is. Okay, Sieg Hart wants her to die and thinks she's dangerous. Elie is horrified at the idea of being just a nuraber in some sadistic experiment. I get it. I don't need to be told these things several times.

Well, after a week off, Ani-Monday returns and so does Rave Master. This week brings a new story arc. May we be spared from Elie's Xena imitation.

Here's this week's schedule!

12 AM: Out of Time - Part 1
12:30 AM: Out of Time - Part 2

With any luck, this won't be about time travel.

I don't think you thought this "end of the world" thing through. I mean, where are you gonna go?

A knight, a lizard man, a skull thing that speaks in rhyming couplets, and a racist Mexican stereotype.

The cavalry has arrived...if you can honestly call them a cavalry.

Yay they're finally all dead episode's over AWW CRAP!

CAN'T WE HAVE A WORLD WHERE LOLLIPOPS AND PUDDING CAN LIVE TOGETHER IN PEACE AND HARMONY?!

This isn't an origin story, it's an ACID TRIP!!

Aww, man, I was busy reading funny things on the Internet and then this show comes on and coerces me to make fun of it!

Oh no. Haru and his father are still in there.

Yeah, you slipped and fell down a very deep hole.

I had a feeling Lizardman would change sides.
