"Rave Master" on Ani-Monday Talkback (Spoilers!)

Hey, that's what I've been saying from the start!



As I mentioned earlier, from what I recall, that part WAS actually done seriously for the most part in the dub, and even people who really hate the dub renditions of Haru and Elie might feel sorry for them (the crap Sieg Hart puts them through is THAT bad.)

Of course, then (in all versions: manga, original anime, and dub) the mood is kind of killed since right afterwarRAB come the Big Butt Bandits....*shudder* The less said about that, the better...
 
Quick question about the Rave Master dub, was it dubbed by 4KiRAB? I ask because I never saw the show when it was on Toonami and it really feels like one done by 4KiRAB.
 
This week, the Enclaim saga enRAB and we apparently get some backstory in the second half of the hour. Hmm hmm.

Who voiced young Haru? It can't be Lauren Bailey. For some reason, he sounRAB close to the same as young Suzaku on Code Geass.

It's just a little hard to hold it in with three moronic train robbers waving their butts in your face.

For the record, I don't TRULY hate this show. I'm the kind of guy who'll watch anything once. I just wish they hadn't watered it down so much.

UPDATE: As a show of good faith, I have removed the THAT'S NOT FUNNY image in one of my posts on the previous page. To be honest, that was a bit of an overreaction on my part.
