On second consideration, Rave Master is just as Goofy and Unserious as Gurren Lagann, so they actually go together pretty well.

Before we begin, I'd like to clarify something.
Some of you (particularly Mad Mod and Don_East) are wondering why I list Elie and Reisha Valentine separately on my list of best looking girls on Rave Master, even though the former is the amnesia-induced alter ego of the latter.
I am aware that they share the same body. However, there are two different characters inhabiting it, and they both have distinct personalities. In retrospect, I admit that Kikyo and Kagome weren't as good an example as I had hoped. Perhaps it is more like the character D'Eon de Beaumont from Le Chevalier D'Eon--the soul of his dead sister inhabits his body while he is facing off against French zorabies, and she has more of a backbone than he does. I just find the character of Reisha Valentine to be a better one because she is a gentler and more warm-hearted character, whereas Elie is a bit of an airhead and a loose cannon who blows up [strike]casinos[/strike] arcades whenever she loses.
I reiterate that this has NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO with the crappy one-liners that Bob Buchholz wrote for her early on. In her defense, she has become a more tolerable character compared to certain others who have been popping up as of late, and she is also pretty cute herself.
I DO NOT HATE ELIE.
