when is it airing again? Another edit: Next monday, ughhh 6 days....I wonder if they will replay ep.1 + 2 again..
 
SCHEDULE ADVISORY
Due to there being only one episode of Gundam 00 this week (the series finale, if I'm not mistaken), the final Rave Master hour of doom will begin at 11:30pm instead of midnight. The Ani-Monday block will finish out with Negadon, the Monster from Mars.

Well, that was an ordeal. And not an entirely pleasant one.

Fifty-one episodes of TV-Y7 dub edits, corny dialogue, bad jokes, pointless flasrabroadacks, and villians the likes of Lance, the Pudding HeaRAB, the Big Butt Bandits, and that one guy who kept talking about his high school French class.

Granted some of the character designs were pretty good (*coughReinacough*) and the female characters were pretty cute (*coughReinaagaincough*) but in all honesty this show was pretty mediocre, and that was on good weeks. Subpar animation, needless stretching of pointless stories (re: the movie star idiot from "Sound of Thunder") and finally, an ending that isn't with multiple subplots unresolved.

Most of these problems are intensified by the English dub which is THE WORST THING EVER COMMITTED TO AN ANIME ADAPTATION!!!

I mean, what was Bob Buchholz thinking?! You can't just insert random lines into an anime and expect the viewers to think it's funny!! I mean, sure it worked with Bobobo, but that was because IT WAS A COMEDY!!! THIS IS ACTION!! THE JOKES DON'T WORK!!!

The lack of an ending is a problem for me in itself. I wanted that subplot with Reina and the Silver thingie to go somewhere.

Crap.

Oh well. Thanks to Don_East, Gatomon41, zoorabie, GWOtaku, NelStone, warnerbroman, Mad Mod 40 and anyone else I might have forgotten to mention for enduring the pain with me.

I think I'll take Ani-Monday off next week to begin the healing process.

Good lord, that opening really is bad. I've seen better openings from so-called hackdubs. So yeah, it's the Toonami version.

So...fifty years ago the Hero blew it and a tenth of the world got decimated? Harsh. One hopes it will go better this time. You know though, you'd think he'd keep slashing that massive shadow stone until it broke or something.

So Elle garables and blows away the casino to relieve stress. Oooooookay, then!

All this time to stage an epic battle and they waste it talking about this one guy's high school French class. This show seriously neeRAB to get its priorities straight.
 
Last time, Haru and his father Gale got separated within the Tower of Din. Gale went on to face King, whereas Haru got stuck facing the Rave Master version of the sinister six. Fortunately, Elie and the others arrived to even the odRAB.

What will happen next? Besides the unnecessary jokes, I mean. Let's find out.
