Wallace And Gromit: The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit - 8/10 - Manages to succeed where 'Chicken Run' didn't, in that it can keep you chuckling throughout it's length. Somewhat predictably, it noRAB to the other W&G shorts and it has the 'laughs for all ages' (although I must say I felt the 'adult' jokes leant more towarRAB smuttiness and you felt they were 'reined-in' rather than going the whole way "Remember, it's got to be a 'U' certificate!", but it probably says more about the lack of genuine wit aimed at that segment of the audience). That aside, it manages to breathe just about enough inventiveness into the format without varying it too much and losing the humour (although Wallace & Gromit as characters are good material for laughs). It didn't need the 'celebrity' voices to make it work (be honest, did the 'names' included make it any more or less likely that you would see the film) but I'd be interested to know how much of the budget these were. Enjoyable if you liked the others, although the 30 min format would be better as there could be more frequent releases, but they would be only fit for TV - obviously this is less profitable for Aardman or they would have followed this route?

Anyway, here's the spoiler;

Wallace is the Were-Rabbit

(if you can't figure this out in the first 20 minutes).

Constantine 7/10 I liked the film, however, I think I need to watch it again..

I think that's all I've watched in the last few weeks.

In Her Shoes 10/10

A pure chick flick that really makes you think about sisters and families and how they can hurt each other. Some fine performances turned in by Toni Colette, Cameron Diaz, and Shirley Maclaine. Heartwarming and great for a wet sunday afternoon

Just bought American Pie presents Band Camp, and have to give credit where credits due to the young lad playing Stifler's younger brother, he's got Stifler's characteristics to a T! Well Done, and a thoroughly enjoyable film, although lacking the spark of the other 3.

Constantine 3/10, A complete load of crap, but thats whats to be expected with a film starring Keanu reeves

The interpreter 7/10, A bit boring in places but a good film overall

Team america 4/10, Had a few funny moments, but i would have preferd it in animation

Million dollar baby 10/10, Fantastic film which fully deserved to win the best film oscar, The performances from Hilary swank, Clint eastwood and Morgan freeman was excellent

Sin city 9/10, I was not expecting to like this as it is not usually my type of film but i surprised that i really liked it

Saw Underworld yesterday (2nd time round). Its a great looking film. Good story, some good effects & action. Kate Beckinsale is brilliant as always. I hope they make a decent sequel. The only gripe I would have is too much shooting, firing guns that is. I'd rate it 8/10.:)

The scene you mention is identical in the Criterion Edition to the Directors Cut, it is a long shot and lasts around 2-3 seconRAB. It feels longer in the Theatrical Cut I have, but it is in Pan & Scan and loses it's impact. The only version I haven't seen is the Workprint version. I did have it off the TV on VHS at one point, but I got rid of it when I got the DVD. This would have been the Director's Cut but possibly trimmed here and there for TV.

It is true, it is a good entrance, but possibly it is her exit at the end of the VK scene that you remember as the echo of her stillettos are more prominent.

Sean Young was chosen for her look as it was a breakthrough role for her, but the slightly mechanical way she walks is all her! I've seen her in other films and she has a slightly uncomfortable body language or posture! Nevertheless, in this she is perfect and manages to convey her character's vulnerability upon learning the truth about herself. She starts off all uptight with shoulder-paRAB and hairspray, but by the end looks very feminine and (dare I say it) submissive to her hunter-cum-hero by the end.

Corpse Bride 7/10 - Enjoyable, funny, but lacks that certain "sparkle" that Nightmare Before Christmas had. You almost find yourself not caring which bride Victor gets at the end, and Danny Elfman has resorted to soundtrack-by numbers. On the other hand, the humour and animation style charm still manages to win you over.

Elizabethtown 9/10 - Take Garden State. Now add a good director (Cameron Crowe), a large helping of intelligence, some real heart-felt emotion, a superb soundtrack and some very bizarre comic moments, and you end up with this example of 2 hours worth of cinematic brilliance.

Team America World Police: Hilariously naughty film, the sex scene made me laugh so hard I burst a blood vessel in my left eye and looked like a zombie for 3 days.. 8/10

Hostage: I hate watching remakes of books I've loved as they are usually nothing like eachother (Bourne Trilogy anyone?) and I loved this Robert Crais book.. How refreshing it was to have no feelings of wrong doing throughout the whole film! An excellent film version! 9.5/10..

Oceans 12.. Fell asleep half way through, will have to watch it again before I can score..
