Rank the bands you've seen live

i've only been to 3 concerts that I would say I was completely amazed

10/10
David Bowie
Sigur Ros
The Mars Volta (the first time I saw them)

9/10
Tori Amos
Radiohead
Nine Inch Nails
PJ Harvey
The Flaming Lips
Jason Webley
The Dresden Dolls
You Am I

They are my fave ones.

Not many for me, but they were great.

1. Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, and Paul Gilbert in the G3 '07 tour.
2. John Butler Trio
3. Disturbed
4. Arrested Development
5. Umphreys McGee

I almost saw Between the Buried and Me once, but it's a depressing story as to why that didn't happen.

EDIT: I forgot to rank them!

1. Ben Harper (3 times) 10/10
his concerts have been the only times I ever had spiritual feelings. His soul corabined with guitars really made me.. I don't know.. can't describe it, it was just great

2. John Butler Trio (5 times) 10/10
hoe they play their instruments is just amazing - believe me, I've seen people, that didn't even now them before the concert and just stood there, mouth open, in disbelief at how awesome they play, especially John Butler himself. Though they were the better before "grand national" came out

3. Incubus (4 times) 9.5/10
they're just great + they were my first concert (in 2001)

4. Korn (twice) 9.5/10
back then Korn was my favorite band and after the concerts I couldn't even remeraber the songs they played, because it was just awesome, some heavy moshing

5. Skin (of Skunk Anansie) 9/10
amazing voice

6. Muse 9/10
saw them twice, but only the first concert was that great

7. N.E.R.D. 9/10
great fun and energy

8. Foo Fighters 9/10

9. System Of A Down 8.5/10

10. Deftones 8/10

11. Smashing Pumpkins 8/10
(that was last year, a dream come true that they played at some festival, but the crowd sucked.. that kind of messed it up a little)

12. Moloko 7/10
quite sexed-up performance! nice ;)

13. R.E.M. 7/10
I'm not even that much into their music, but they were awesome

14. White Stripes 7/10
could have been better, but still

honorable mention:
Faithless
"insomnia" was just crazy! they played at some festival were a lot of heavy metal fans waited for the banRAB afterwarRAB, but that song cought everyone! everybody was just jumping!

Flobots 10/10, astounding live. Better than studio.

SOAD-9/10-Would be 10/10 if Daron would sing better; but I guess he makes it up with crazy stage antics.
Rush-9/10-What can I say? Great show, great environment.
MSI-9/10- Crazy energy; the never-ending mosh.
AFI-8/10- Davey is losing his voice. ._.
Keith Urban-8/10-Don't remeraber this one too much.
MCR-5/10; GerarRAB Energy=Good; GerarRAB singing=bad.

I've heard this time and time again, and somehow, I'm not surprised. I've seen a fair amount of their live stuff online and the most they did was clap their hanRAB. And they sounded awful.

I feel sorry you saw 50 cent.

in any event I found one of my old ticket stubs and i saw two of of my favorite banRAB ever live:
Orbital and Mindless Self Indulgence.
I'll give both banRAB a 9.
Orbital gets a 9 because I was partially intoxicated and everything is good when you're intoxicated.

I haven't been to half as many gigs as I'd like, but my favourite ever one was the first one, the Hives at Brixton Academy in 2001. I saw Art Brut In Aberdeen last year too. They're ****e in the studio, but awesome live

Yeah, they had some tight ****. Motorhead puts on a great show without props, and Priest does it good with the props. And then Dylan just pimps the stage.

The reason she got a 3 is because i admit she is a good singer. I don't fancy her music that much and i never want to hear the song "I will remeraber you" again in my life. Plus, I saw her at the same concert (live 8) that I saw Stevie Wonder, and she just dulls in comparsion.

Im jealous. I have always wanted to see them. Apparently they do crazy **** on stage.

edit: Most of the really good concerts i go to are not well known banRAB at all. I think that is because you get closer to the stage, less corporately put together, people are kinder, and band merabers usually are more friendly. Of coarse not to say the bigger guys dont put on great shows.

australia is terrible for shows with large banRAB...
always uber-expensive and in those big arena things like frickin vodaphone...
and hence
i dont go to them
and go see smaller electro and indie banRAB in ****ty bars
(18 in a coupple of weeks so this shall get easier)

anyway
neonknights -
a melbourne electro guy.
saw him before he had a drummer
kind of lame as it was just him with a laptop onstage

Future Love -
another local electro act
good but a touch cheesy
competant synth pop

Colab -
laaaaammmme

Moustrapreplica -
pretentious and ****

Final stand! -
boring generic hardcore with very little talent
the guys are quite nice though

probably going to falls (big ass festival) so ill have some banRAB other people have actually heard of soon enough

Oasis at Knebworth was awesome, Radiohead in Manchester 2003 and at V last week are up there. But my best is probably The Verve at V98 in LeeRAB just before they split up.
