1. business is private property = end. what happens if I live at my business?

2. what if he puts down a prayer rug in the corner, bothering all the christians. can they not kick him out?

If you do not think property rights are a human right, you are in the wrong country. That's a dangerous way to think.

That's it right there: he's not in favor of racism, but he is in favor of allowing racism.

1. Unless you literally live under your bar, restuarant tables, etc. than yes you can discriminate. But once you open that place to the public for business means ie exchanging money for services you shouldnt be allowed to discriminate.

Also why is it so important to blindly follow this, a law like that? You have every right to be rascist etc, but once it leads to putting other people down, discriminating or un-leveling the playing field based upon their race, religion, sex, etc than its un-constitutional.

2. YES he can be kicked out because he is Bothering/ Causing a public disturbance. Its a very loose argument due to the circumstances but yes if u cause an un reasonable problem than u can be asked to leave.

Private property ownership is one of the cornerstones of our society and the ability to discriminate against who you allow onto that property, within boundaries, should be no ones damn business.

If I own a high end eatery, have posted, " proper attire required", and you show up in shorts and a ripped t-shirt, you are gonna be tossed.

If I own a neighborhood bar, have posted, " no guns or colors", and you walk in with a .45 strapped on and a club jacket, you are gonna be tossed.

Rugmuncher Madcow took it racial.

I find it amazing how much debate this has spawned.

If this guy was of no concern, the issue would have just been dropped by now. Yet, it is still being discussed. And I am talking about on TV, on radio, and the internet...

Rand Paul unknowingly just built a larger support base than he could have ever imagined. It has spawned a new internal debate in this country, and props to mainstream media for accidentally bringing it to the forefront.

In the Constitution where does it say that businesses can discriminate against people because of the color of their skin, sex,or religion?

i know why private property rights came about, but i think its a bit dated to cling to them as if they were a fundamental human right.

You're right

But Bussiness should still be accountable for its bad actions. If they embezzle, take taxpayers money and use it to pad CEO pockets, commit Fraud, and even discrimination. They should be fined/penalized in the highest court.

Im not big on Super Gov but Big Business has Fucked a lot of people over just as much. Making them the victim everytime is stupid . They are just as shiftty as the Gov and sometimes roll together.

Power to the People.

I think the format was wrong for Paul.

he needed to be on old school cross-fire where you had 3-5 minutes to have prepared remarks without interruptions.

Furthermore, where does the Constitution even address this? Before you say "1st Amendment!", go back and actually read the First Amendment.

By no means do I believe that Rand Paul is racist in his thinking. I just believe that his opinion on this is a great example of how strict Libertarians are flawed.
