Ramadan: Culture and marriage..?

A friend of mine has her heart set on marrying ab man from another culture/race. Her parents are against it totally but she believes he is the right person for her...What can she do to convince her parents and or what should she do?
 
my parents (who are from palestine) are like that...they're like "you have to marry a Palestinian!) and im like "heck,i was born in america,the melting pot of the world;so i can pick who I want to marry!"
 
You know parents are usually right.

Though you may not know it at that time (when entangled in your emotions) changing your whole lifestyle so it fits w/ anothers culture isn't always that easy...

Tell her to do Istikhara.
