radio works but when a cd is inserted it comes up with error code E111?

its a 2002 Ford mondeo zetec, only just bought the car, no radio code with it, but as I said, the radio works fine, the error message is when a cd is inserted, it dosent seem happy to take the cd either! dosent pull it out of your hand
