I have 2000 chrysler concodre and I put a new battery in and now the radio will come on but no sound everything is stock what could be the problem and what can I do to fix it

check the wires, they might be loose or not even connected to the speakers or cd reciever
if that doesn't work try checking out a store that fixed speakers or sells them
if that doesn't work try checking out a store that fixed speakers or sells them

well if it's STOCK check on the back of the radio to see if there are any LOOSE wires pull them a lil not to hard just to make sure their connected

Usually when disconnecting and then reconnecting the battery, you may blow a fuse. Check your fuse box for any blown fuses.
Be sure to check if your radio is not on mute, or that the volume is turned all the way down.
Also, see if your radio has any tuning options. There may be something adjusted all the way down.
Try inserting a CD or cassette to see if there is still no sound present.
If none of these things help, then call your dealership to see if your vehicle has a Stock Amplifier. The stock amplifier could have gone bad and may have to be bypassed.
