I hope this is an easy question to answer.
Right now I have Expressvu at home with a single LNB dish. I also have a dish hooked up at my cottage with a single LNB dish. When I go up there I bring one of my receivers from home, plug it in and voila TV for the weekend. I know technically this isn't kosher but whatever.
I'm getting HD set up at home so they are going to hook up the second LNB, run more cable and I assume point to the new bird (91?). How will this effect my cottage set up with only a single LNB pointed at the old bird? Will it still work or will I need to get a second LNB? If I need a second LNB can I just take one of the lines running from the existing LNB and plug it into the new one? Do I need some sort of switch to combine the 2 feeds into one that will run into my 3100 receiver?
Sorry for the questions, I'm a little confused about all this but any hep or links are appreciated.
Thanks.
