I was wondering if anyone with accurate medical information might answer these questions for me:

How are the chemical commonly used in carpet cleaner and Kawasaki disease related?

From what I have read, Kawasaki disease is treatable, are seizures a common long term effect of this disease?

Do people commonly die from long terms effects of Kawasaki disease?
Thank you for your thoughtful reply Joelle. I have been reading about the death of Jett Travolta and found this explanation for the child's death,...em, thought provoking

Kawasaki disease can cause heart failure and infections in the lining of the heart, which are obviously pretty dangerous, but the mortality rate is really low, especially in the U.S. It can crop up again sometimes, although that's rare as well. I've never heard of seizures associated with it, but sometimes an embolus can develop in the heart, and it's possible it could travel to the brain and block flow, maybe causing a seizure. But that's really unlikely. Studies have found that there isn't an association between carpet cleaners and Kawasaki disease.
