Questions about Islam and their culture?

One of my best friends is Muslim (i'm catholic) and I no basically nothing about his religion so I was wondering what are some of the holidays and traditions of Islam.
 
Very similar traditionally to Catholicism. The difference with Islam is that Muslims do not believe in the Trinity, or worshipping Jesus. Instead they see Jesus as Messiah and prophet, but only worship God, and they also believe another prophet Mohammad came after Jesus. They hold all prophets to be the same. They revere the Virgin Mary as well. Ramadan is a holy month for Muslims, similar to Lent, except Muslims do a complete fast during the day. Then the end of Ramadan where they break the fast is Eid al Fitr and they have many celebrations.
