Hi, just a query about whether in Trinidadian culture is it often/ever accepted that men will have many girls at once? Have known & dated a guy for nearly four years now & more recently it has been long distance.. other girls have called me up saying that they are his girlfriend & currently one woman is saying that she is having his baby also...he tells me he loves me, we are great friends & have a really good connection. He says he doesn't want to hurt me but basically he can't help himself & i should accept it (other women) if i really do love him. Living in Europe my gfriends often tell me i'm mad to stay with him as cheating is not accepted in my (Irish) society. Would appreciate any input as there are very few other Trinidadian people living here to ask, although it may just be him personally, having read similar stories on other threads it wud be easier to deal with if it was more commonplace for him back home.
