Beforehand, i want to thank you in advance for taking the time to read this and answering (hopefully all!) my questions.
So i did a quick search and read as many threads with ppl asking whether the to purchase the n70 or the n72. but unfortunately i still do not know which phone would be best suited for me.
I live in southern California (north america) and i plan to stick with t - mobile as my service provider. A quick search on ebay shows the N70 and N72 at both around $320 so the price advantage is moot. What features/functions i will really use the most would be calling (duh), the calendar (to sync with outlook of any other calendar program), and the music player.
As of right now i do not plan to use the internet capabilities due to budget constrictions--maybe further down the road i will.
SO, i apologize if this thread seems redundant, but which one is the better phone? the only reasons why i am considering the n72 is:
-because of the outer case (design) appearance.
-from what i have read, the N72 is more music player adapted (friendly)? or am i mistaken since both has the same operating system and version?
-And also, from what i have read, it seems as though the N70's interface is slower, that and/or the phone altogether is slower? That the N72 is more responsive / faster ? Is this true?
Another concern is the reception i will be getting. i am not very familiar with the signal bands, but i did read that it would be better to have a phone with GSM 850MHz for california (north america)? Is that correct?
The N70 is Triband GSM (EDGE/GSM 900/1800/1900 + WCDMA 2100 MHz), while the N72 is Triband GSM (900/1800/1900), would not having EDGE and WCDMA 2100 MHz hurt the N72 in talk quality and signal strength (reception)? More so, would it make a difference for someone living in southern California?
Lastly, since the N73 seems to be better choice, i was wondering if anyone could estimate when the price for the phone will drop. say to around $300 dollars? or just a price drop in general. but if it is not going to drop anytime soon (a couple of months), i believe i will just pick up the N70 or the N72.

p/s.: should i just save myself some cash and buy the nokia 6682 for $199 to 250 dollars?
