I don't know if that's what you would call it, hence the quotations. Anyway, my question is: WHY do gay men generally like Bette Midler (or they used to), Madonna, Cher, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, etc.? What do these women have that appeal to such a large portion of that one group of people?
