Question about beliefs/culture..Please help :)?

I work with a guy whose family is from India (They live in Canada now) We really like each other and have grown quite close. I have 2 questions on my mind but I am too shy to ask him lol..

1.Is sex allowed before marriage?
2.What does his culture think of Interracial dating? (They seem to stick to their own kind)
 
Drop hints about the dating thing but sex before marriage is not a good thing, no matter what you believe.
