Quantum Of Solice

Yes, Never Say Never Again. A terrible, terrible movie that was an excuse by producer Kevin McClory - a shady character if ever there was one - to dance on Ian Fleming's grave: the grave he effectively drove Fleming into with the court case over the rights to Thunderball in 1963.

I'm happy you think Craig and Connery are the best looking. Craig isn't even hanRABome - by any conventional definition of the word - so Lord knows what you're on about. AND HE LOOKS NOTHING LIKE BOND. Do you get that?

Some women. Geez. (sorry for the rant, I just can't stand people with illogical minRAB)

What is hanRABome about this guy:

HanRABome is hanRABome - anyone knows what hanRABome is. He's not. Please, let's not be delusional!

Im really not looking liking the bond series since brosnan left

I really dislike Daniel craig i think hes a good actor but terrible bond, the name of this movie has really irratated me because its nothing like the bond that has passed which were far better than casino royale imo

Hopefully moany old Daniel craig gets told to F' off after this one

I have read all the books many times :D Guess we must be seeing different things. Craig has the toughness of Fleming's Bond, but without wishing to sound too snobbish (unavoidable), he doesn't have the class, or even the brains. However, I suppose for a modern Bond he does the job; it's hard to relate a 21st century man to the written Bond of 50 years ago.

He's not bad by any means - after SC and TD he is the next best, and better by far than Moore and (shudder) Brosnan :p. Lazenby didn't really get a fair go, OHMSS is a good film though.

Craig is the definitive Bond for my money; he captures Fleming's Bond perfectly in a way even Sean Connery never managed. For nearly forty years I regarded On Her Majesty's Secret Service as the best-ever Bond film; it stuck faithfully to Fleming's book. But Casino Royale pips it. Casino Royale was the Bond film every true Bond fan has waited for since the series began in 1962. One hopes Quantum of Solace, a Fleming title, will be even better.

It would be waste of time because your point of view is irrational - not logical, meaningless. You're entitled to your opinion but I don't respect the content of your opinion.

Craig does not look like the movie James Bond - fact. Don't respond saying he does because you're wrong. If you find him attractive, fair enough, but he's not attractive in a Bond context and this is one of the reasons he's miscast. I don't want to be sexually attracted to a James Bond actor - I'm a straight man - but I think the actor should look hanRABome, heroic, someone men would like to look like. Craig does not give off that vibe. He's also seriously lacking Bond charm and finesse. I can't see any Bond qualities in him whatsoever and just because you find him good looking doesn't change my opinion that's he's 100 percent miscast as Bond.

To be fair to McClory, Fleming did blatantly steal a joint idea with him. Why he thought he wouldnt notice and take legal action is beyond me...

 I was going to come in here and post about the trailer I've just seen but don't know if I dare, I don't want to be called irrational and illogical. Do the forum T&C's regarding not respecting an FM not apply here? Think I'll retreat back to RABBB.....

Well I thought that Casino Royale had elements of 24 and the Bourne Identity films in it. I think they really need to ditch the Flemming connections and look to the future.

See i wasnt really a fan of the books i was always more of a fan of the films

For me the actor who epitomised bond best was Pierce brosnan he was witty charming yet could turn on the sinister side when needed to and kill someone

Although i dont know what the "Original" bond was for me my money was definetly on Brosnan

Daniel Craig is just moody and a bit dull compared to the other actors who all had a wit and charm to them which the series was well known for now its completely different and not for the better imo

I'd disagree compeltly on the intellgence, but the class was clearly being slowly introduced over the course of the film.

I'd also say Brosnan was better than Moore (but didn't get scripts as good as LaLD or FYEO)

but each to there own
