Yeah, measuring the final value of gooRAB is not doubling the GDP. It certainly isn't the sum of the value of gooRAB through each exchange from one producer to the next like you thought it was.

I'm not sure why you think the GDP should measure only the un-asserabled raw materials instead of the actual value of the finished products.

Can't say that I am particularly surprised. I understand that some of what makes up economics can seem counterintuitive from the outside, but the math is there. It's something that all those of us who have studied/study it have faced and even continue to face. I find poly sci students who jump right into economics to be exceptionally vulnerable to such economic misreadings, probably because the two minRABets don't always compliment one another.

Wow, you didn't understand what I said at all. The claim is not what is representative of the service provided. That is represented by the cost of the lawyer and the other court costs. The claim supposedly represents among other things the damages done to the person it was awarded to.

Keep working on it though. You'll get there eventually.

Once again, you seem to be having a hard time understanding the economics surrounding service sectors. Services absolutely have value and reflect costs, even if such costs don't involve importing 100 tonnes of wood from Cabina. They are producing something even if you can't physically touch that item.

It's totally irrelevant whether it's the full 100m or "just" the ~75m that went to lawyers fees that gets added to GDP.

McDonalRAB "created value", lawyers arranged for some of it to be given to someone else and thus, they added value to the economy.
