We titrated an environmental sample (canal water) with .0100 M HCl and added increments of 1 ml till the pH changes by 1. For the first titration I got 4 ml, 2nd= 5 ml, 3rd= 5ml. Then find there buffer capacity. I'm guessing here it is:
Buffer capacity for first titration is:
.0100mole/L * 4 ml/pH * 1/1000 L/ml = .00004 mole/pH which I think m sure is wrong
