I have two older 12" RF subs-1212 4 ohm 3.0 dual voice coil 1000 watts max. What is a good/proper amp to power these subs. Right now I have a Sony Xplod 1200w amp (stereo shop said it was more like 300w when broken down with math). Is my Sony the wrong amp for these subs? Please help!!
I plan on upgrading to a higher quality amp but untill then I want my system running- I just don't want to ruin any of my stuff by using the wrong equipment.
