.What are legal options? Girl , MS In Optho, got proposal of marriage .Terms finalised.Marriage hall booked,Invitation cards distributed,marriage clothes purchased.The boy and girl moved like couple. On fine morning the boy told her demands of his parents failing to which he threatened to cancelled marriage. Later on on the pretext of beauty and pretiness and dowry he informed to cancelled marriage.
 
I'd say that boy is an immature prat to have canceled the wedding because his parents are stuck up and superficial. A real man would marry his beloved anyway, regardless of what his parents thought.

Furthermore, if this boy in question was living with the girl and had sex with her, he'd BETTER marry her, because in your culture her prospects will probably go down if she's not a virgin anymore.
