process

The quiet one

New member
there is a process to living
soft and immaculate, in
the gentle placing of
the careful rolling of
the tender wetting of
then the inhalation
a reflection of one's
reverberation

-------

the last two lines were troubling, what i have here is the fourth version, and i'm still not entirely comfortable with it

if this is about smoking weed than thats probably the most poetic thing anyone has ever said about smoking weed

if its not about smoking weed, i have no idea what its supposed to mean

yeah haha right? If its about blazing its amazing, but either way that's what I take from it. I like how its simple, yet also full at the same time, a good short poem.

it's not really about weed it's more just the ritual of rolling a cigarette

initially the poem had a living/dying theme to it but i decided to drop it and change the last line to something a little better worded

going to read through all of that after class.

i need to make one of those, my poetry is all scattered.

whats that painting?

it's a cropped version of The Sea from the Heights of Dieppe from Eugene Delacroix

here it is:
