have a eclipse aftermarket cd player with 3 preouts, and a 4channel amp. my 4channel rca's are run directly from the amp to the eq out slots (front, rear and sub) and one rca coming from the cd players front pre out to the EQ's main in slot. if i balance all the way to the right using my radio and fade to the rear both left and right speakers play (when only the rear right speaker should be playing). but if i balance to the left and fade to the rear no music will play out of either rear speaker. why do both speakers play when only the right rear should be playing? also why doesnt the left rear play at all when it is singled out with fade and balance? but when everything is set to zero (balance and fade) all 4 speakers work. i am not using any Y cables or splitting any signal. i am running a set of 4channel rca's from the amp directly t the EQ. is something on the inside of my eq getting the rear left and right signal confused? what could be causing this?
i have been in car audio for years. everything is hooked up as should be. i did not use any short cuts here with the install. i just cant figure out why or how something like this could be happening? please help me out m1chae11ane123@yahoo email<
