I have a pioneer amp it is a gm model and a little while ago i had a problem with the amp making my lights flicker really bad in my car when it was putting out sound then the amp stopped working. So I couldn't find any problems then i looked at the in line fuse holder and I had to use a pair of pliers to get the fuse out it wasn't blown but where the metal plugs come out of the fuse some of the plastic was melted and there was a lot of acid build up so I replaced the fuse and my amp started working fine for 2 days now it is doing the same thing the wire kit I have to power my amps is rated for 1200 watts and my amp is 790 and the in line fuse is 80a what could be the problem? thanks
