pride and prejudice! i got the movie last monday and saw it 10 times or more!!! i'm in love with the movie and obsessed with a sequel. but there is non!:-( well you have to read the book first its great and the movie just love it
Hi. I'm new to the Movie forums, and I spotted this thread, and I saw Pride and Prejudice on the weekend and I absolutely loved it. I watched it 3 times, and now I'm obsessed. It ends so happy. :in_love:
My favorite look in that scene is the look his sister gives him. It is a rather knowing look.
I also love the way Darcy looks when he is walking across the field at the end. It is so completely different from the way he looked when he first appeared. :sigh:
 The entire Rosings visit is so good! ITA. I loved how we saw that shy side of Darcy come out. I find that moment we he admits to Lizzy that it's hard for him to converse with people he doesn't know so sweet.
I could watch it everyday too and not tire of it  I never stop smiling throughout the whole movie It's truly perfect to me :sigh: I watched it again the other night!
I agree! they were great together!
My ending didnt have the kiss and I much prefer it that way  I thought it was perfect the way it was and I don't know why they added the kiss for US audiences
Wow, this thread was way far back on the 5th page! Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any P&P music videos that they've made? I would love to see them!
I'm so happy to see a board for this AMAZING movie!!
I was actually reading the book for English class and was about half way through when the teacher said we got extra credit for seeing the movie. I had been wanting to see it anways, but it was a nice incentive.
I have now seen it three times... twice in theatres once on TV. I'm in love.
I love that scene too - you really hardly notice her aunt and uncle
I also love the scene where Darcy and Lizzy dance at the Netherfield ball - that scene was done beautifully! :sigh:
One of my favorite Darcy/Lizzy scenes, though, is when they are at Rosings visiting Lady Catherine - From the moment Darcy enters, he cannot take his eyes off Lizzy....and then he comes over to the piano and she gets to learn a bit more about his character and his reasons for why he was so miserable-looking at the first ball....it's just one of my favorite scenes
