If you haven't guessed by now, it has come down to 2 competitors. One Piece and Cowboy Bebop...but who shall take the top spot?

2. One Piece

1. Cowboy Bebop

Because putting what are the early years of adolescent as the diplomats of the entire human race and then being in charge with full support is a clear break of realism in what the show is trying to be realistic in its generic issues.

Or we can actually get into the actual reasons why Wing is just a bunch of old men yelling at the Wing boys to get off their lawn.

Wing Boys: 2 trained soldiers at best, 1 rich boy, 1 junk dealer, and 1 "because I'm CHINESE!" All at age 14-15 with the forced minRABets of someone in their 20's.

00 Boys: 1 former middle-eastern child soldier, 1 resistance fighter, 1 super soldier with superior genetics, and 1 robot. All at age ranging from 16 to 18. Time skip, 4 years later.

Not only is the age much more realistic, but the 00 boys stay as soldiers. They fight, and fight. The Wing crew range from secret agents to cooperation heaRAB to peace-makers in charge of the Earth sphere. What are they at Endless Watlz? Barely old enough to drive in the US?

For something like Gundam that try to be a realistic setting, they do too much that can easily be fixed with either lessening the wtf load they do, or just age them.

Great list. Heh, I knew Cowboy Bebop and One Piece would land somewhere in the Top 10. There's some surprising ones there too. Glad Monster made it.

How is it bias? Watch Wing again. Tell me that half of the stuff that goes on (random self-destruct buttons, anything that comes out of Reelna's mouth) stanRAB up to repeated viewing without lying. It's not possible.

Self-destruct buttons are meant so they can't rebuild the damn thing again. Or at least smash it to pieces. Not make it brand spankin new like its pointless.

How many times was Wing rebuilt? Or Sandrock? It's pointless, which they fixed by throwing into the sun...only to stupid themselves at the end again.

I do not hold it against Gundam Wing that they rebuilt their mobile suits (i actually like it better that way, cause i hate when gundam protagonists get a new mobile suit when the old one gets broken).

I didn't really think people liked Bobobo... It's certainly not my type of series, but "shrugs". Baccano might be something I check out next. I've been hearing about it quite a bit lately.

I'm satisfied though. 7 shows out of 10 that I like are on the list, so yeah... (Even though I didn't list Death Note, I still liked it)

One Piece is #2? This is all Decade's fault!

I'm just glad Gintama made it in there at all and I'm even happier that Yu Yu Hakusho made it so high (I wonder if my thread helped? )

Wow, you guys must have really liked Escaflowne.

I think the only good explination for why Wing beat 00 is nostalgia factor. Seriously, 00 is vastly superior to wing in almost every measurable way, but most everyone remerabers wing when it was the last vestiges of half-way decent anime on T.V. me included. Now, I'll grant you, I could care less seeing as I didn't place either in my top 10, but 00 would have made my top 20 and wing wouldn't have.

Bobobo-bo bo-bobo!!??, really?, lol, did not see that coming, well, i liked that show so its all good. Gundam Wing beats Gundam 00?, that's a nice surprise i am happy to see (because i prefer Gundam Wing). Yu Yu Hakusho is so high and yet Hunter x Hunter is nowhere to be seen? (oh the humanity!!!).

I have Gundam Wing on DVD, I've seen it several times over. I think it's a great series and a superior Gundam show to 90% of the Gundam series made by Tomino himself. (Yes, I'm willing to go there) The plot makes perfect sense and I never found Relena to be annoying and think her ideas are most admirable. So there.

Tis a good list though I never had a doubt in my mind that Cowboy Bebop and One Piece would nurabers one and two on the list. Also hooray for Dragonball/Z, Monster and Gurren Lagann in the top ten.

Yes, success in a foreign market is obviously more important than actual quality, originality, influence, or, hell, success in its original market...

Bias ja nai!
