Well, on the basis of this list I rented out Dial M for Murder and Arsenic and Old Lace earlier today (I have To Kill A Mockingbird lying around the house, one of these years I'll get around to watching it)
In the case of Some Like It Hot, Singin' In The Rain and to a lesser extent The Wizard of Oz, I have seen large chunks of them (in the case of the former two, I ended up watching them in a film class and the teacher fast-forwarded through parts of the film to fit it into two lessons with time for discussion both during and afterwards). Singin' In The Rain was at my local store, but Some Like It Hot wasn't. Must investigate further.
