Hi there before I start I must explain that im not the most responsible person when it comes to finance well I have got better but lets say as a bachelor livin in the big smoke of belfast my plastic friend has always been close to hand. I have a good job and can afford to live within my means etc but on a day off I seen one of the many PPI claimback ads on TV which I usually dont listen too but it dawned on me, that I have had the same credit card for years paying the usual charges etc etc so I decided to ring up my company and just outright asked if I was being charged for the "PPI" which I have been, every month since May 2007. I asked her if she could send me a letter or report detailing the amounts etc which seem to range from £15 per month to £30 per month. I also asked her to send me the form I signed or any proof that I agreed to take it out.

Should I go through a claimback company or is there any way you can do it yourself, as the TV/Internet companies all seem to charge 40%+ if they succeed. Any kind of advice would be very much appreciated, and dont worry im not gettin too excited I know its not a simple proceedure. The company btw is capital one.
