PPI credit card insurance?

I have cancelled mine, can I claim back what ive already paid?

PPI - Payment Protection Insurance - why have you cancelled it? and no you cannot claim it back, I had PPI with Capital One credit card and in January 09 became unemployed for 2 months and the PPI was more trouble than it was worth.

Sadly, I can't claim back my PPI. Try to get in touch with the company and its very rare they get back to about this, and if they confuse us more than anything. Though I seek advice and help from a counseling agency. It still didn't work.

When we cancelled our card/account we tried claiming ours back saying we never requested it and hadn't realised we had been paying PPi, but the credit card company just told us that we'd ticked the box and, therefore, we had no claim. So we contacted one of these companies who claim on your behalf (for a fee, but we figured that without this company we wouldn't be getting anything back from PPi, so it's worth having to give them £140 to do it) and after one letter and phonecall our credit card company agreed to pay back all that we'd paid out.
