I have a question about the power wire for a 500 RMS 1000 Watt peak P3 Sub woofer. I see wiring kits that hold 600 watts, 1200 watts and stuff like that. When I get a wiring kit and I looking for a wire that can hold the RMS power of a sub or the peak. I heard peak for subs really doesn't matter in terms of the amp cause its barely ever reached. The amp is also a 500 RMS 1000 Watt Peak amp.

More power is always better, thus more power transmitted through a larger wire is also always better. If you want the most out of your amp, use power wire one size larger than you need to, double ground the amp and get a 1farad capacitor to keep the voltage up during high power demand.
