OK when I was told I had to have a colonoscopy for anemia I freaked, but since talked myself down, plan to have it and a whole bunch of other tests etc. to make sure anemia is only being caused by heavy menstruation.
But of course, since the GI doctor concurred earlier this week that I should be cautious and have the colonoscopy, I am now getting intestinal gas and mild abdominal pain. I am 99 percent sure it's nerves, as I had NO symptoms before this, but waiting for the scope for two more weeks (6/9) is going to drive me nuts and now I think I've given myself a spastic colon out of fear.
I am trying to relax and stop reading too many Web sites, or next I'll probably think I have swine flu. (I am not generally a hypochondriac but I thinking Googling anemia too much is turning me into one
Thanks for listening!
