power acoustik cap cell 800?

well i have a couple questions, does anyone know if you still have to charge this before installing. and if i have a 1.5 farad cap now. can i hook both of these up together. and does the capcell really have to be close to the amp?
 
the cap should be within 18 inches of the amp, closer the better but try to keep it at least 3-4 inches away, and yes capacitors need to be charged before use, it doesnt take long for them to charge, 20-30 seconds usually.
