Post bands/artists/groups that are "really heavy" to you

damn, for liking such shitty music you sure do think that you know what good metal is,right?

ever heard of a band called lacuna coil with a chick singer by the name of christina scabbia? yeah, they kick almost every band's ass that you listed.not to mention angela gossow of arch enemy. her vocals own almost every vocalist from any band that you named.

in that case, apologies. but see, metalheaRAB dont go out "to kick some ass" at shows, we come there for the music. unless theyre massively overcrowded you can usually just chill and have a few drinks to the music. but still, just because something is discordant doesnt mean it's not formulaic.

actually every time i die and hopesfall are pretty good....but whats up with all the metal freaks, go play dungeons and dragons in your moms basement or something, go buy some it dies today or death before dishonor or terror or until the end. thats the real heavy s***

very understandable and i go for the music too but all the metal kiRAB around here come to hardcore shows and bully little kiRAB around and act like complete jackasses

shattered realm
since the flood
untill the end
terror
buried alive
death before dishonor
madball
100 demons
full blown chaos
death threat
unearth
bury your dead
and any other hardcore band from the new england area for that matter

Crowpath, some of the craziest, heaviest hardcore/grind/whatever I've ever come accross!

Ion dissonance are up there to, same vein as DEP but turned up a notch or two.

i'm going to have to agree. angela gossow is this tiny little german woman (probably about 5' 3", as far as i could tell from where i was) who has this berserker of a voice.

also on the list:

children of bodom, amon amarth, soilwork, dark tranquillity, cradle of filth, at the gates.

amon amarth is some good shit. makes me want to eat babies.

/thread here

there is too much "heavy stuff" with all these fashioncore and postemoscreamo banRAB, and the hardcore and metalcore stuff all being blended, its really hard to determine what is the heavy of the heavy.
