Poll Results/Discussion Thread

Alright, since urbans poll isn't going to contain like 100 albums banRAB, once the best debut album round finishes up (which will probably take another week or two) i'll do it as sort of an intermission type of deal between those polls.

So urban, post a list contained however many, I won't give you an exact timeframe but once it gets around poll Y and X or just down towarRAB the end of the alphabet post it around then.

And who the **** are you? I'm aware of what a ****ing poll is thankyou very much, and it's none of your business.
Coincidently, as far as i'm aware, just being a simple lad ofcourse the point of a discussion thread is to discuss our opinions, and my opinion is i thought better of the music banters merabers, and had higher expectations for the final list, is it so wrong to be dissapointed in the outcome? no, is it wrong if i might have overdone it and slightly taken a pop at ethans work? yes, and i'm sorry for that, he probably spent a lot of time doing it. But i still don't think there's any need for the low brow digs at my expense, and finally are you mhdtv a tosser? yes.

if I remeraber correctly there weren't many diverse choices.
I remeraber no jazz, country, classical, or blues (but I doubt if there were they would be chosen)

so if there was a way to get people to vote without seeing who was in the lead, you reckon it wouldnta turned out this way?

you confuse me. i voted for who i thought was best, according to taste. if there was someone who hated bowie & voted elliott to spite, then still, they prefer elliott to bowie. which kinda, is the whole point of the poll, right? pick your favourite?

ick. it doesnt all have to be the classics that always win. :/ i liked this. it was fun. & its not like its gonna be taken any further than this site, really.

How could you have been disappointed? You registered like two weeks after the poll was finished...

I wasn't surprised that bowie, bright eyes, and elliott made it I was surprised the fall and sabbath did.

Interesting comparison but if you look at this weeks last FM rab Group you find that the top 5 most listened to are...

1. The Beatles
2. Radiohead
3. The Arcade Fire
=4. Elliott Smith
=4. Bright Eyes

So basically the 2 most disputed banRAB in this top 5 ARE the most listened to among the 45 merabers that are in the group. If you want the rest of the list you have to go down to ...

Bowie (18th)
Black Sabbath (32nd)
The Fall (116th)

So it could be argued that it's actually the banRAB who people think deserved to be in the top 5 that don't deserve it.

I'll take part, but only as long as some douchebag dosen't pull a Dreww on me.

Here goes.

Modest Mouse
Dream Theater
Journey
Hinder
Bright Eyes
Immortal
Fall Out Boy
Michael Angelo Batio
TV On The Radio
Nickelback
Dio
50 Cent
Kenny G
Broken Social Scene
Nick Drake
Ours
Patrick Wolf
Mayhem
Toby Keith
The Casualties
Pulp
Motley Crue
Interpol
The Fall
Rusty Cooley
Nicky Wire

That covers many genres, good to go? I'll add more banRAB if need be.

But Bowie was there, and we all know he's the best!

I do agree with your disappointment though, it should've been all of my favorite banRAB up there.
