Wow, out of all the banRAB on the planet, for a music discussion forum to come out with that top 5 list has made both me and my guitar gently weep, i demand a recount.
i voted too, in most of the threaRAB to do with this, how the hell did this happen, and just out of curiosity as the band i've been trying to smuggle into the hearts of you all how did circulus rank?
 
Do I? Maybe its the fact that I'm an intellectual super power. My curse is that no one else is, alas. Digression aside...

It would be more far if people voted without seeing who was in the lead.

You had boo boo who voted for the Fall because they beat Led Zep and he said "if you can't beat em, join them" only to later mock the fall. Then you have people who saw that their option would lose, and seeing as they hated the person in first place, the argument was made that they would rather see anyone win that [band in first place].

Its not to hard to note that people who conglomerated behind say "Sabbath" would have voted another way had sabbath not been their only option to unseat, say, Bright eyes.
 
I'm going to try and keep doing these polls for different subjects, if you have any suggestions on one tell me. Currently were doing best debut album, other ideas are, best album, best genre (maybe), best band, best lyricist, best vocalist, best voice, best guitar player, best bassist, best drummer, best keyboardist/piano player, best screamer and best song.

Elliott/Bright Eyes bitching aside since its going to go on until I promise to remove them and replace them with Zeppelin and the Who..

Anyone else think its pointless to do favorites/best polls since its just going to be repetitive and annoying? I think instead of doing best/favorite album i'll just title it best album and people can vote however the hell they want and all the classic rock fans who bitch about some album from after the 80s winning can get fucked.
 
There's been a lot of polling lately, which poll would you like to see?

I'd like to see a "Worst songs of all time" or banRAB. Or best/worst of a decades music. like "worst songs of the 80's" or a gender specific poll or something. Anybody else?
 
Moby's done some good stuff with the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, so he's excluded .I've not heard a Cocteau Twins song in about 10 years so it's gone from hate to indifference.
